She studied product & furniture design in the school of Architecture, as well as self directed studies in colour theory and colour therapy, leading to psychology of art, giving her a deep understanding of form, function, and colour, the mind behind the hand. This unique blend of disciplines has helped her develop a keen eye for detail and a strong sense of composition, which are evident in her works.

Before moving to Cyprus, Rebekah worked as an assistant to Ruth Bothwell in a restoration and conservation studio. This experience helped her develop a deep appreciation for traditional methods of creating art, as well as an understanding of the importance of preserving our cultural heritage.

Since 2020, Rebekah has been independently teaching workshops at chosen geological locations, on how to forage and process natural earth pigments, using the ancient Egyptian method of egg tempera painting. Her goal is to make the art world educated on natural sustainable methods of creating art, to make the art world conscious of its influence on society, and to make each artist consider their methods and mediums in light of our contaminated planet. She is passionate about creating art that is not only beautiful but also environmentally conscious, and her workshops are a testament to her dedication to this cause.
